At BCM Construction we work with our supply chain to deliver electrification projects. The main focus of works has included both HV and DC renewal works. We are making efforts to expand our capabilities so that we can offer our clients a one-stop-shop.
HV Feeder Renewals:
We have the capability and experience of delivering HV Feeder Renewal schemes. Works have included installation of new cable containment routes, refurbishment of existing routes, cable pulling, jointing testing & commissioning of the new HV Feeder and recovery of redundant oil filled cables.
DC Traction Cable Renewals:
At BCM we also have experience of delivering highly complex DC traction cable renewal projects. A recent project example is South Bermondsey Depot where we completed the renewal of all DC positive and negative cabling.
Power Supply Upgrade Projects:
Traditionally we have been involved in the civil works associated with Power Supply Upgrade Projects. Over the last 8 years we have built 35 new substations throughout the country. We can now provide our clients with a more diverse service offering both civil and electrical construction services.
