Problem solving, innovative solutions and a dedicated Resident Liaison Team are at the heart of BCM social housing service.  Offering traditional new build and internal / external refurbishment services to Sheltered Accommodation Providers, Public Care Homes, Local Authorities and RSL’s (Registered Social Landlords) is a significant part of BCM’s client base.

We offer a full range of services such as, DDA adaptations, window replacement, installation of door entry systems, re roofing, concrete and brickwork repairs to both occupied and non occupied properties.

We are currently working with a number of local authorities and RSL’s (Registered Social Landlords) towards raising the standards of individual properties in line with the Governments Decent Homes initiative. We have already brought over 1,000 homes up to Decent Homes Standard and expected to double this figure by 2010. 

Our Decent Homes projects include replacing kitchen and bathrooms, installing new mechanical and electrical services,   overhauling windows, resurfacing balconies, and carrying out general repairs and redecoration as part of some of the services we provide. 

Our award winning health and safety team work collaboratively with the project management team ensuring staff are CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) vetted, and fully briefed in the areas of safety without compromising quality or programme.

We have a well founded reputation for undertaking heritage projects.  Our experiences include restoration of Libraries, Town Halls, Churches and other Public Buildings.    Our team of directly employed  staff and chain of specialist  sub contractors  are able to work on  the most challenging and sensitive restoration projects involving  stone, brick and timbered structures.

We offer a full range of new build and refurbishment services which includes construction of sports halls, library facilities for local authorities right through to the refurbishment of gymnasiums for health club operators and leisure centers. 

BCM are approved to work   with the NHS Trusts and have experience on projects ranging from renovation of Community Health Centers to new build of Doctor Surgeries. Our experience of working in sensitive environments makes us suitable for working in security-restricted environments.
