Cyber security certified!29th November 2019
Committed to providing innovative, safe and resilient solutions, BCM Construction is delighted to have achieved Cyber Essentials certification, validating the measures the company takes to keep our clients’ data secure.
Over the past 18 months, we have been through robust audits, demonstrating the processes we have in place to protect the data we manage across the multitude of devices and systems we use. Not only does Cyber Essentials certification give our clients reassurance, but it also aligns with our aspiration to deliver excellence in everything we do.
With continuous improvement at the forefront, we constantly invest in our IT systems to ensure they are secure and resistant to cyber-criminal activity. With our entirely cloud-based IT system, Cyber Essentials certification is essential as not only does it mean the data we manage is protected, it supports our teams to be geographically mobile and diverse – securely.
‘Cyber-attacks are a huge risk to the industries we work in which is why BCM is doing all we can to mitigate the risk and protect our clients’ data. Gaining Cyber Essentials certification has been a huge commitment and, for an SME has taken a lot of time, but we have always been confident in our systems and proud of our forward-thinking sustainable approach to deliver the best solutions for our clients.’ Stuart Jackson – Commercial Director, BCM
Improving our processes further, and as part of our commitment to become paperless, we are developing a digitised BCM Information Management System (IMS). Creating both business efficiencies and environmental benefits, the new IMS will enable all site documentation to be easily completed on devices, automating workflows and enabling cloud-based storage of files – reducing the use of paper and associated waste.
As a trusted partner of choice for our clients, BCM Construction is dedicated to delivering safe, innovative, sustainable and dependable solutions.
